About PhotoMaxxing

PhotoMaxxing is a safe-for-work photo-feedback service. You upload photos of yourself — the kind you’d put on a dating, social, or professional profile — and a real, independent human reviewer assesses them against clear criteria, then sends back a keep/cut verdict on each, written notes, a short audio walkthrough, and a recommendation of your single strongest photo. Usually within 72 hours, from $10.

Who writes these guides

These articles are written by Steve Harris, the founder of PhotoMaxxing. The site exists because of a simple, repeatable problem: almost nobody can judge their own photos accurately, and friends are too kind to be useful. Building a service around honest, structured photo feedback means we spend a lot of time looking at what actually makes a photo work — and what makes people pick the wrong one.

That’s the expertise behind these guides. They’re practical, honestly written, and grounded in real review work rather than recycled tips.

What we stand for

Photomaxxing, done right, is about presenting your authentic self well — confidence, not deception. PhotoMaxxing is deliberately the wholesome version: real photos of your real self, honest feedback, no ranking of people, strictly safe-for-work, 18+. There’s no messaging, no matching, and no public profile of you anywhere. Your photos are seen only by your assigned reviewer.
